Delores Reese heads up our Children's Ministries. She and her team of volunteers love Jesus, and they love kids, and that's a great combination! You can follow C.M. on Facebook (New Cumberland Church of the Nazarene Children's Ministries).

We hope your family finds the love and energy

of our Sunday and Wednesday programs,

and our special events.

Stay Connected

Here are some of the things our children enjoy together:

Sunday Morning Children's Program -

Our infant nursery is available for use by parents and their small children from 9:45 AM through 12:30 PM every Sunday, and during Wednesday evening activities.

9:45 AM -- Sunday School Classes

11:00 AM -- Worship begins in the Sanctuary, then during sermon time the children are taken to another space where they hear a age appropriate sermon that is in line with the adults. They are brought back before communion

Caravan -

Caravan takes place Wednesday Evenings from 7-8 PM, September through May.

Caravan is a weekly kid's club committed to the physical, social, mental, & spiritual growth of children. It uses an active, hands-on learning approach to help kids--

* discover essential physical, social, mental, & spiritual skills
* develop self-esteem through recognition of their achievements
* experience positive interaction with caring adults & peers
* grow in their understanding of & appreciation for being part of God's church family.

Call the church office (717-774-6444) for more information.

Children's and Pre-Teen Camps -
Our District Children's and Pre-teen Camps are held each summer at Summit Lake near Emmetsburg, Maryland, the first full week of August.

It is an awesome week of fun, paddle-boating, hiking, cool chapels and more!

Children who have completed first through sixth grade are welcome.

Training and Safety
Safety of our children is of upmost importance to us. All volunteers that work with children are screened and have background checks.

In addition, nursery volunteers are trained and are CPR/first aid trained.

You can contact the church office for more information (717-774-6444).
